Hello,
My name is Doodle Bug and I live in a nice, safe, fenced-in yard in Brookwood, AL. I have lots of ramps that my dad built for me so I can climb up onto things that I can't reach because I'm short. I love to get up on the trampoline and survey my kingdom.
My mom told me that you are a long way from home and can't be with your dog, so I am sending you my picture. I know it's not like having your own dog with you, but I thought you might smile just the same. I know my yard is safe and secure because people like you go far from home to make it happen. I would be scared to go that far away, so thanks for taking care of it for me. ...

I hope you get to come home soon and see your family and pets. Until then, think of me and smile. Oh, that nasty smear on my hip is the drool from another dog that I let stay in my yard. He is an English Bulldog named Dozier, and he is very messy. When he drools on you it is like cement when it dries.

Love, Doodle Bug Gray
