Benjamin is a friendly five-and-a-half year old Pekinese who loves everyone. He is quite a gentleman and very polite. He has just begun visiting in the Children's Unit and the Children's Oncology Unit at Palmetto Health Richland, the Child Psychiatry Unit at Palmetto Health Baptist, and at the Rice Home, a home for seniors supported by the Lutheran church. Benjamin loves to visit and gets excited just putting on his "work" clothes. I am sure this would really surprise his previous owners, who surrendered Benjamin after an accident that left him blind in one eye and in a coma. He has certainly brought me a lot of joy since I found him at the Chihuahua Rescue Center in Spartanburg.
