My name is Ted, and I'm a friend of Logan and Teoti -- notice my priorities!  I like Sebastian, too, but he's not Logan, who plays with me, and Teoti, who gives me pets and treats! This is my mom's favorite picture of me as a puppy.

A more realistic one is me chewing on Logan -- or just about anything else. 

I told you Logan was my wrestling buddy!  (Teoti calls this the "where's Ted's head" photo.) ...

Like Logan, I work as a therapy dog; in fact, they've been training me to do it since I was little. The place where I visit every week, Palmetto Senior Care, is my home away from home.  Because Palmetto Senior Care works with the V.A. Hospital, I know lots of great veterans who fought in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.

I'm quite the cuddly fella, and I've always been.  Even when I was just 6 weeks old I was trying to get out of my puppy pen to visit with the people  (that's me on the far right).

What these cuddly pictures don't tell you, though, is that I'm also quite the rowdy "dude"*my mom's nickname for me.  I love to dig, swim, and steal socks (plus other unmentionables); the latter are really good to take outside and bury in those holes I've dug.  Now, though, since I'm a big Dude I try not to do that anymore, but sometimes I just can't help myself! ...

Surprise, surprise, I told you I was a big dude!  I'm now a year and a half, but as you can see in the photo, I still love visiting my friends.  Here's hoping that you can be one, too*that you'll get back from Iraq safe and sound as will all the other soldiers you work with!  Me * and my mom! * appreciate all you do for us and the sacrifices that you and your family are making.
