Hello,
I'm Moses. I guess you could say I have a small dog complex. I know that if I just weighed a little bit more I could do something about that Bulldog, Dozier, that Mom has let come and live with us. He's not all bad. He does play tug with me, but sometimes he gets my toys and lays on them so I can't get them. That's when I just go nuts, but he acts like I'm not even there. Mom and Dad laugh at me when I get like this. I don't see what's so funny. One day I'll get him when he is least expecting it.
I work with Helga to keep the yard safe. My specialty is the garbage truck, the UPS truck and any four-wheeler that may drive through the neighborhood. I chase them all the way down the fence. Sometimes they go so slow coming up the hill beside the yard that I have to run in circles waiting for them to get to the top of the hill. It*s a tough job, but somebody has got to do it. ...

My mom says you have a tough job too. She says you are constantly patrolling for things that don't belong in your neighborhood. She says your job is very dangerous and you get lonely because you are far from your family and friends. It must be really hard to do your job every day and not be able to see your family, not even your dog, at night. I know it's not the same, but I'm sending my picture for you to see. I'm little, but I'm feisty and tough. Mom says you are tough too, and you are doing a hard job, but you are doing it for dogs like me and people like her. Thanks for taking care of my mom like that. You don't even know her, but you are doing all this to make her safe. The other dogs and I appreciate you so much. I know your dog misses you really badly, but thanks for doing what you are doing for us.

Love, Moses Gray
